By building and analyzing a power supply with its transformer (inductor), rectification (diodes) and filtering (capacitors) circuits you will learn the basics of AC electronics concepts. You will be taught the fundamentals of good soldering and get practice doing it. We introduce semiconductors, diodes, and transistors with transistor biasing. You will learn the theory of transistors and transistor amplifier configurations.
