The Variable Power Supply project will produce a regulated, adjustable DC output voltage, of from 1.2 to 15 volts, at up to 1 ampere (transformer supplied will give 300mA). Should the output load become shorted, the circuit’s regulator will shut down, preventing damage to the power supply. The project makes an excellent bench power supply for use at home or in the electronics laboratory.
